Butter Cake

Butter cake is the most common basic cake for birthday cake or cupcake before it is decorated with fondant or butter cream. It tastes light on your tongue and makes your tongue dancing. Kids like it very much. The recipe is very simple:

200 grams butter or margarine (depend on your taste)
200-250 grams crystal sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
200 mL liquid milk
200 grams wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

1. In the large bowl, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla essence by mixer until it's looked light and creamy.
2. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition until it's raised.
3. Sift the flour over the mixture, add the milk alternately with the flour, stir well.
4. Add baking powder.
5. Preheat the oven to 180 C. Spoon batter into the tin. Bake for about 50 minutes until it's cooked.
6. Cool cake in the tin for a few minutes before decorate.
